Better Together: how the festival is amplifying what already exists

Not every business begins with a shopfront, a loan or a five-year plan.

Women Who Hustle events are part of the week-long Orana Every Woman Festival from 2–8 March.

They include a Business Breakfast Panel and the vibrant Women Who Hustle Markets, both designed to celebrate the earliest stages of women’s enterprise and make business support accessible to everyone.
Women Who Hustle Markets aims to be a lively, family-friendly celebration of local talent and determination. Visitors can expect a showcase handmade goods, creative products, demonstrations and women-led ventures from across the Orana.

Leading the markets initiative, and joining the breakfast panel is Sarah Hamilton from Three Moody Heifers

Sarah will also on the Women Who Hustle breakfast panel bringing practical insight from the front line of regional micro-enterprise — where flexibility, creativity and resilience matter just as much as profit.
Thanks to the support of Every Woman by Commonwealth Bank, this business panel is free and brings together regional women to share real, grounded conversations about running a business in the Orana — the wins, the challenges, and the practical lessons learned along the way.
I'm so grateful for this support by our local team at Commonwealth Bank. The small beginnings deserve visibility, encouragement and community backing, because the broader truth is when regional women are supported to earn, create and lead in ways that fit their lives, the benefits ripple through families, communities and the local economy.
